BoxCatering
Eighteen categories. Smart and Big box formats. A build-your-own option. Themed seasonal editions that rotate through a hero carousel. Free delivery in Chișinău. BoxCatering is a full catering menu running as an online store, and the store had to carry every part of it.

The menu
Eighteen categories, two box formats, one cart.
BoxCatering doesn't fit on a printed menu. The sidebar runs eighteen deep: breakfast, snacks, savory fourchette, combos, fasting menu, salads, traditional Moldovan, meat, fish, lunch boxes, beer pairings, kids' boxes, dessert, drinks, toppings, equipment rental, and rotating themed sections like the FIFA World Cup 2026 edition. Most dishes ship in two formats, Smart Box for 2-4 people and Big Box for 6-8, each card carrying weight, headcount, prep time, and the full ingredient list.
On top of the catalog sits "Creează boxul dorit", build the box you want from the full menu, one item at a time. That was the feature the old setup couldn't handle. Phone calls and Instagram DMs were doing the job instead, badly.
The storefront
Gold on cream. Food in the foreground.
The brand is gold and cream with a hand-drawn icon set. The products are photographed well. The design stays out of the way of both.
The eighteen categories collapse into a scrollable left sidebar so the product grid stays clean. Each card carries an image, a name, the meta line (2.5 kg · 2-4 pers. · 50 min), an ingredient summary, a price in lei, and one "Adaugă" button. Prep-time badges (1h, 3h, 24h) and discount tags ride on the photo where they matter. The cart persists across the session and totals update live.
Trilingual throughout, Romanian, Russian, English, switched from the header, not buried behind a flag in the footer. "Livrare gratuită în Chișinău" sits in the nav, not in a FAQ.

The feature the phone line couldn't scale
"Creează boxul dorit", create the box you want, is the standout. Customers pick individual items off the full menu and assemble a custom box one selection at a time, while pricing recalculates live. Group orders stop requiring a spreadsheet-and-phone-call pre-negotiation.
By the time an order lands in the kitchen it's a structured ticket: every dish, format, and quantity spelled out. No "was it six or seven portions?" No re-reading Instagram messages from three days ago. The order is the order.
